Water consumption is also decreased by 40%, with 80% less salt usage. The leather and suede for the upper and panels are ChromeFree, while the logo and insole are crafted from Amazonian rubber, sustainable biobased E.V.A., and recycled E.V.A. The outsole is a combination of Amazonian rubber, silica mineral, recycled rubber, and synthetic rubber, while the welt is made from synthetic rubber, silica mineral, and other materials. The lining and laces are also environmentally friendly, made from 100% recycled polyester and 100% organic cotton respectively.
